'The Bachelorette's' Kyle Higgins: Justin alright 'until the cameras got around'

kyle-higgins-bachelorette.jpgKyle Higgins, the mountain man from Highland's Ranch, Colorado, was one of the eight bachelors eliminated during the first night of Ali Fedotowsky's "Bachelorette" season.

He talks about what he thinks of "Rated-R" Justin, Craig M. from Toronto and why he thinks it just didn't work out with him and Ali.

On being so opposite of Ali:

It honestly never really crossed my mind before I got there. I heard she was kind of outdoorsy before I had gotten out there. I thought we might mesh in a way. But again, opposites do attract ... I guess they just didn't.

On his remark about "eating" the first impression rose:

It was a joke, I was just joking around with my friends, with the guys there. I really don't know... I didn't even remember saying it 'til I saw it, I didn't think I could say anything that clever.

justin-bachelorette.jpgOn "Rated-R" wrestler Justin:
He was one of those guys when you were around him, he was just completely different than when he was next to Ali. The things he would say to her were just almost like when you're sitting next to one of your best buddies when he's hitting on a girl and you can tell he's telling lies. Around us he was Mr. Macho Man. He wasn't one of my favorite guys there. I actually rode over in the limo with him, I thought he was alright until the cameras got around him.

craig-m-bachelorette.jpgOn Craig M. from Toronto:
You know, when I watched the episode it surprised me. I actually really liked him, I spent the majority of the night with him. Watching the episode and the previews, his character shows a little bit of a different story, but I was only there for a night. He could have drastically changed for all I know. While I was there, I thought he was a good guy. He was a little cocky, a little confident, but most of the guys there were that way. I didn't think he was that bad.

jesse-bachelorette.jpgSo who was the best guy for Ali, in his opinion?
The perfect guy for her, from my experience, I believe his name is Jesse. He was just a really nice guy. If I had to pick a guy for her, I would pick Jesse. He seemed like a genuinely nice, true guy. You could tell some of the guys were there for the wrong reasons but he wasn't one of those guys.

And does he regret going on "The Bachelorette"?
No, I don't regret it at all. I'm 26 years old and I've had probably one serious relationship out here in Colorado. The relationship I was in was a really good relationship 'til the end, and finding love is something I want to do. I had a good time. At the end when I seemed upset, I've never done anything in my life when I set a goal and wanted something and .... I expected to go farther and maybe win the thing. I failed, is what I felt like. I wanted to be there at least halfway through the show. When I got let go, it surprised me. I felt like a failure, I guess.

"The Bachelorette" airs Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

dude is just jealous of rated-r!

the guys dont seem to want the Canadian guys there and are looking for anything to put them in a negative light, Rated R is the only one left they seem jealous of him for some reason, Weather Guy took Craig M sometimes the wrong way and he could not tell when he was joking but i agree Craig M would not have been a good match for Ali; usually tattle tales dont last long on the show and he will not be with ali in the end, the guy who was married before will not last either, virgins, married guys and tattle tales never end up with the bachelorette in all the years past
