'Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains' finale: Russell Hantz defeats Rupert Boneham for Sprint prize

I think Russell is the worst player ever, and shame on the people that encourage such behavior.

You said it, Michelle, the jury in both Russell's seasons voted for the person who hurt their feelings the least. Maybe impartiality is too much to expect from a jury of losers (so to speak), but if they were capable of detaching, Russell would have won for sure, just like he deserved to.

Russell should have won shame on the jury for being sore losers! The best player should win not the worst.

Russel should have won and everyone I know thinks so too!! Sandra sucked all season, the only reason she is there is because russell kept her in instead of courtney. He dictated the entire game. The Jury are all just sad losers and wished they could have partnered with Russell since he is the BEST survivor ever!

i just don't understand the jury and some of the people who watch this show. the game is described as outwit, outplay, and outlast for a reason. russell has done all of these things and get condemned for it. it is a GAME people, please. russell did have a social game and it was called 'manipulating every single player in the gaem'. he should have easily won last season and he should have taken this one as well. if not him, parvati at least. she's pretty brilliant and amazing herself. but sandra, come on. seriously? i've watched all 20 seasons and feel that i may not watch again if it keeps coming out like this. russell is the greatest player to play the game.

I don't care what Russell did and what Sandra didn't. It's all about who screwed you over the least and if anyone says that isn't what should be factored into voting for the winner of any competition reality show, they are LYING. Russell was so sure of himself to the point it was sickening. In some respects, I can see why folks would feel that he should win, but it's outwit, outplay, and outlast, which is what Sandra did. She NEVER bought any of Russell's crap, and in the end outwitted him in thinking that he could control her. Give Sandra the prize money, while Russell gets what "America" wants him to have. If he still whines, then he is just a big *** sore loser.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. IT'S A GAME, PEOPLE!! When you play poker, what do you do......you LIE, you BLUFF, you try to WIN THE MONEY. Russell played the best game. Anyone who says different is another crybaby and a sore loser. He made it all the way to the end and all the sore losers voted against him. I'd have been in jail for assault if that Charles Manson look-alike Rupert had said to my face that I was a disgusting human being. He's just another SORE LOSER. I love RUSSELL!

Survivor is FLAWED. If you noticed all throughout the previous seasons of survivor, the winner is almost always the person who partnered with the strongest player and they could just ride them all the way to the end and not offend any of the bitter jury members which then makes them the easy choice. Sandra had no business winning this season. I think Russell should have won but if it was Parvarti it would still be OK because at least she did something.

Russell is amazing... He is the reason why people tuned in each and every week. Something needs to be done to change the rules of Survivor.. or they need to create another reality show where the world can vote! It says.. OUTWIT.. OUTPLAY... and OUTLAST... there is nothing in there that says you have to BEFRIEND anyone... He truly did outwit, outplay and outlast in is own unique way. For a million dollars we would all do what it took to win the big bucks! Go Russell

People saying Russell should have won are blinded. Russell isn't the BEST player, he is the most entertaining. He keeps people tuning in, and is amusing to watch, but he ISN'T a good player. It was one thing to say he lost last season due to sour grapes, but this season was different. Russell wasn't just evil, he was a backstabbing, mean spirited individual. He lost all social game, and you CANNOT burn down that many bridges and hope to win. Not to mention, these are the all stars. They know what it means to play the game, and are the LAST people on earth to vote based on who outted them. Russell lost because the jury unanimously agreed that his GAME was bad. Sorry, but so long as Russell doesn't care about the social game, he won't win the vote. He'll entertain America with his creepy, evil antics, and win America's vote, but he will NEVER win the jury acting so foul. I just don't get why people can't separate Russell's watchability and playability. Watch him all day, Russell Lovers, but I can guess that if you land on survivor with him, you wont give him the money either.

In the very least, Russell needs to own up to his deeds, instead of acting like he is the best thing in the world. Had he owned up, claimed he lied and played dirty for the sake of his alliance, told the jury that if he played nice, he would have been out long ago, they may have respected his game. But as long as Russell acts like being a troll is the best and purist route, he will lose.
