'Supernatural' finale: Look out, Sam Winchester, Lucifer's moving in

sueprnatural-finale-sam-dea.jpgConsider this your spoiler alert, "Supernatural" fans. With only one episode left in the season, things are about to get scary for the Winchesters. All year, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) have been avoiding their destiny as the vessels for Lucifer and the arch angel Michael.

Michael has found another body to occupy - that of Sam and Dean's illegitimate half-brother, Adam Milligan (Jake Abel). Lucifer, however, is still looking to move into Sam's body. (And we don't blame him... have you seen Jared Padalecki?)

If Sam says yes and accepts Lucifer as his new meat-roommate, there's a chance that he'll be able to guide Lucifer back to hell. The horseman Death thinks it's a good plan, but Dean is hesitating, since the catch is that Sam himself won't survive the jump into the pit. Since Dean was four years old, his number one job in life has been protecting Sam. Will he be able to sacrifice his little brother to save the world?

The clip below answers that question. Excuse us, we need to go have a good cry.

If you're hoping Sam changes his mind at the last moment and tells Lucifer to get some new digs, the trailer below may prove you wrong. Padalecki promised us back in March that Sam and Dean would "hit rock bottom," and judging by Dean's beat-up face in the clip, rock bottom isn't pretty.

It's been confirmed that at least one "beloved character" won't survive this season's final apocalyptic showdown. Vote in the poll and let us know who you think is going to bite the dust.

Oh no Sam! This just can't end well. I wonder if they'll pull a Thelma and Louise and jump in together but I think it's Sam's turn for the big sacrificial move. I'd be in that boy in a second too, who can blame Lucifer. Great article. I am scared for them all (and by all I mean Sam, Dean and Bobby(

Couldn`t care less. I have lost all confidence in this show. The way they have been acting as season 4 didn`t happen makes my head hurt.

And the Bobby glorification of Sam last episode? I felt like I was watching a soap opera. The same for Sams "I`m the least of you all"..

Nah.. kill off Bobby, kill off Sam, doesn`t matter... The show has lost it interest to me.

Sorry to come out so negative, there was a time I used to love the brotherly relationship, or the awesomeness of season 4 - they have completely lost me in season 5. One season too many.... - I just needed to vent, sorry...

Whenever they say a "beloved" character dies, it's never a main character, it's always a recurring guest star that is a fan favorite. Only Bobby fits that description.

Dean's face is always pretty, even when it is all beat up!

I agree with Lucy, the writers are making my head hurt with some of their asinine storylines, which seem to forget about Season 4.

This hail mary plan of Sam's didn't have to be the only plan, but for some reason that's all the writers came up with or all they cared to come up with.

Well,Sam's been annoying me since Supernatural first started and it has gotten worse in the last two seasons (no idea if it's the inconsistent writing or the actor whose acting abilities aren't all that good) but I still don't want him to die....More so because I heard there's going to be a six season and if it's going to be all about bringing Sam back then I'm not going to watch!!!
Also,Can somebody explain to me why we heard two Seasons long that Dean will stop Lucifer and now suddenly it's Sam!?

Best damn show EVER.

I agree! BEST DAMN SHOW EVER!! It only gets better! Enjoy.

Lucy, and Ellie clearly have been watching a different show. Season 1 was a introduction to the brothers. 2 Was about choosing the best vessel for Lucifer. 3 Was about Dean escaping the hell hounds (incase we forgot Sammy dies and Dean brings him back via xroads demon). 4 Was about Dean coming back from hell and trying to stop the seals from being broken as it would start the apocalypse. Finally season 5 was about THE APOCALYPSE and stopping the devil. Every season leads up to SOMETHING but is independent to its own story. I think aside from Lost (can't wait to see the end) this show is definitely the best I have EVER seen...unlike Smallville that I started to watch and just later lost interest in, this show (I been watching since season 2 and bought season one just because I wanted to know EVERYTHING) has a storyline is devoted to the storyline with some sideshows and ties pretty much every main aspect up. As for season 6 I will DEFINITELY watch it as soon as I get back from basic (Army National Guard HOOAH!), and have faith that the writers know what they are doing. It won't be Padalecki but it is said he will be supervising to make sure the show stays true to the fans. VIVA LA SUPERNATURAL!

Also Dean DOES mention "Hey I been to hell" quite a few times, Season 4 ended...and they are not infact "acting as if it didn't happen"...geez poor viewing is not meant to be blamed on the writing. *sorry if it's double post btw*
