'So You Think You Can Dance': Mia Michaels may not scream but she might be slamming her shoe down on the judges' table
Mia Michaels hit the "So You Think You Can Dance" Season 7 premiere party Thursday (May 27) night to celebrate her new role as the third permanent judge on the show's panel.
Replacing resident screamer Mary Murphy, Michaels and I decided she too must have a signature move now that she's a part of the regular cast.
"Maybe I need to do the thing where, [whenever] anything I love [is done], I get to just throw my leg on the table with the shoe... maybe I need to take my shoe and just put it on the table," she says in the video below. "You know what, I think we've just created something that might be legendary, actually."

Was anyone else amazed at how chunky Mia Michaels is?
legendary? ego much? great choreographer, but sooo arrogant. I'd love to know what when on behind the scenes that Mary Murphy went from being a huge part of the show (as loud as she was, she is missed) to being MIA. Even though she will choreograph, something went down, right Mia?
i was really disappointed with the way the father and daughter team was handled on tv like that. it seemed to me that the girl was quite proud that her father was there to support her and maybe a lot of his time and money went into some lessons just to be with his daughter on her debut must it always be as the judges would say "uncomfortable" how do you think this child and he father feel in from of their neighbors and families\\ i thought dancers were supposed to have an open mind and support thos who try, i just think it was totally uncalled for such a reaction on camera
