'So You Think You Can Dance': Mia Michaels, Adam Shankman to judge full time in Season 7

Adam Shankman is returning as a permanent judge to "So You Think You Can Dance" and Mia Michaels has been added as the third full-timer for the upcoming seventh season.Executive Producer and judge Nigel Lythgoe says, "I am extremely happy that Mia and Adam have returned and agreed to be resident judges. Mia's outspoken approach combined with Adam's passion will definitely add a fresh new chemistry to the panel."
The press release from FOX makes no mention of past judge Mary Murphy and SYTYCDism said back on March 29 that Murphy would not be a permanent judge and would only be choreographing and guest judging. We have approached FOX for comment on Mary and will let you know as soon as we hear anything.
So it would appear that the three permanent judges for Season 7 are Nigel, Adam and Mia. Interesting. Do you think that will work? Or will the panel be missing the niceness of Mary Murphy now?

also with mia being a judge, she can't choreograph
They are messing with the
formula of this show TO MUCH!!
I love Mia as a choreographer,
but don't care for her as a judge. Mary Murphy better be a
regular judge. They are turning this show into a dancing with the stars clone,
and i don't like it.

Did you even read this article Stefan??? It says that Fox has said Mary WILL NOT be a permanent judge and that there are only 3 permanent judges, Nigel, Mia & Adam. Mary is going to be a guest judge and will be able to judge on those weeks that Mia choreographs. I think the Mary is too busy this year, as she also guest judges for SYTYCD Canada.

Glad to hear Mia will be back, but I will miss her choreographing.
So glad Mary Murphy is off the panel. Listening to her scream and ramble non-sensiably almost makes me not want to watch the show.
Mary is okay but when she became a full time judge that was just too much. Less is more with her.

Dan Karrity spend last year trying to "Launch My Line" on the Bravo show that tried to fill the hole left by Project Runway. Unfortunately for him, he was the first "designer" booted from the show.
And Lil C is only unintelligible to those with a low degree of intelligence.
