'Ride-Along' sneak peek: FOX is on the beat in Chicago

jason-clarke-jennifer-beals-ride-along.jpgThe hook for "Ride-Along" is that it's being shot in Chicago, and it's taking full advantage of the city's diverse neighborhoods in filming.

Oh, and it comes from Shawn Ryan, who created one of the best cop shows of the past decade in "The Shield." "Ride-Along" has a somewhat similar feel, with a dedicated (albeit clean, as far as we can tell) veteran officer (Jason Clarke, "Brotherhood") doing whatever he can to keep the streets clean. It also stars Jennifer Beals (who worked with Ryan on "Lie to Me") as the city's newly installed police chief and Delroy Lindo as a powerful (and very possibly shady) city alderman.

The cast also includes Todd Williams, Matt Lauria, Devin Kelley and Billy Lush. It's scheduled to premiere in February and pair with "House" on Monday nights.

So does this mean Matt Lauria will not be on the final season of Fridsy Night Lights?

make that Friday...

who is that hot red head?

Nice to see a new show filming on location in Chicago (as of the episodes I saw of Early Edition, which was filmed on location in Chicago, it was one of the ingredients which made Early Edition one of my favourite 90's TV shows).
