'Real Housewives NJ': Teresa Giudice on coining 'prostitution-whore,' 'If the shoe fits'

If the Season 2 trailer is any indication, the new season of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" promises to take last season's drama up a notch. The women say that everything we've seen on the show is real and that's just "Joizy."

"I don't know how to fake things," Teresa Giudice says. "I think we say it the way it is. I think that's how everybody is in Jersey. They just say it and they'll deal with consequences afterward."

Thank God, because it's the consequences that keep us tuned in to the trashtastic Bravo series.

Since last season, Giudice has had a fourth daughter and she has a cookbook of healthy Italian cooking, "Skinny Italian," coming out May 4. Recently, Teresa took a press call and while she stayed pretty mum on the upcoming season (repeating Bravo's tagline "Watch and See" when anyone asked for details), she did reveal a few things about what went down in Season 1.

Did you have any reservations about doing the show?
It took me like 11 months to sign the contract. Like, I was debating. Dina was like, 'Forget it.' I kept calling her every other week, Should I do it? She was like, 'Teresa, don't bother calling me anymore.' She's like, 'I'm done. I forgot about it.' I was skeptical, but then I finally decided to do it. And the reason why I decided to do it is, um, I guess I can only speak for myself, I knew I didn't have any skeletons in my closet, so I didn't have a problem with putting my life out there. So, whatever happened on the show, you know, things all happened in life. It's not like we planned it. It was like actually real. I mean I don't just go around flipping tables every time I get mad, but she pushed me over the edge.

Do you have any regrets about the table-flipping incident?
No, not at all. I don't have any regrets. As you saw through out the show, [Danielle Staub] did a lot of things to me and I kept my mouth shut. And then, finally, I couldn't take her no more. She did a lot of things on-scene and off the scene that got me to that boiling point and then I was done with her. That was the first time I've ever done that. But, um, do I regret it? Not at all. Would I do it again? I guess if somebody were to get me to that point, I guess I would. I didn't even know I was going to do that. If you could see the expression on my face, which they plastered all over the place, it was really real. It wasn't fake. Even my husband was kind of shocked. Even Dina was shocked. Everybody was shocked. They've never saw me do that. I'm always a happy person. I'm easy-going. But, when somebody keeps attacking you and for no reason, it's like enough's enough.

How do you feel about "Prostitution-whore" entering the popular vocabulary?
I like it. If the shoe fits, then wear it right? I started it, because it really fit the part, you know? And now I have to say, I kind of like it.

What do you think about the MTV show, "Jersey Shore"?
Does that happen at The Jersey Shore? Yes, it does. Am I fan of it? No, I'm not. Would I let my kids, like Dina has a thirteen-year-old, would I let my teenager watch that? Not at all. It's not something I would want my children to watch. But, is that something that happened at The Jersey Shore? Yes. Thank God, it's not one of my daughters. I mean I had a Shore house and I never made out with another girl in a hot tub. You need to respect yourself and respect your body. I'm not too big a fan of everything they're doing. I just want to teach my daughters, you know, good morals and to respect themselves.

You recently gave birth to your fourth daughter, do you want to try for a son?
No, no. I'm done. Would my husband want to have another child? Yes. He keeps saying, 'Let's go for another one. We make such beautiful babies.' I'm like, are you crazy? The girls even think I'm gonna go again. Dina says, 'You're having another one.' I'm like, no, I'm done. I think four is good. It's an even number. In kind of a weird way, I'm happy I had a girl. It's like even now, two and two. If I had a boy, I would have to give him a brother. I feel I'm good. I'm really, really good. And, I really have to get something inserted, so it doesn't really happen. [Laughs] That was T.M.I., right?

Season 2 of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" airs Mondays at 10 p.m. on Bravo.
