'Psych' returns in July

Shawn and Gus are back at it mid-summer.

USA's long-running original series "Psych" will premiere its fifth season on Wednesday, July 21 at 10 p.m., according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Previously, producers Steve Franks and Chris Henze told Zap2it that the upcoming season would have more pop culture themes including a "Fast and the Furious" episode, a kung fu one and a UFO one. Oh, and the Yin Yang killer will be revisted.

USA's summer looks to be shaping up nicely. "Burn Notice" and "Royal Pains" are both back on June 3, while "White Collar" returns with the premiere of "Covert Affairs" on July 13.
