'Private Practice': Death comes to Dell's door
Let's be honest, there's so much ridiculousness going down on "Private Practice". As Zap2it was first to previously report, Dell's potrayer Chris Lowell would not be returning to the drama series next season. And we're guessing Dell pretty much welcomed the Grim Reaper who came to put him out of his "Private Practice" misery Thursday (May 13) evening.
And the kid went heroically, insisting the doctors direct their medical attention to Maya (Geffri Maya Hightower) who seemed to have sustained injuries far worse than his in their car crash.
Unfortunately -- or fortunately, depending on how you see it -- Dell was not in good shape and while his co-workers thought he was resting, his condition deteriorated, ultimately sending him up to the heavens.
Not, however, before he made us cry like little girls as he prepared his already mother-less daughter for his impending death.
So, tell us, how do you feel about the departure of Dell/Chris Lowell? Will you miss him? Are you worried about what will become of his now orphaned daughter, Betsey?
We'll say this for "PP": At least their big finale event didn't include an angry, pyscho chick forcing one of their pregnant doctors to cut the baby out of her stomach so she could steal it. I mean, that would be crazy.
That would have us so annoyed at the show that we wouldn't watch it again for a whole year.
But that's beside the point.
So, yes, do weigh in. Will you miss Dell's sweet face on "Private Practice" next season?

Dell was super hot and had one of the more interesting back stories. I really wish they wouldn't have killed him and gotten rid of Naomi instead. While a good actress, her character is so annoying and played out and this point. Or Charlotte. I've never liked her.
I guess good for Chris Lowell because they weren't giving him much to do and he is a fantastic actor. He was hilarious and super charming on Veronica Mars and deserves a show that uses his talent better. Here's hoping he is in a new pilot ASAP!!

for those of you upset with this spoiler, why would you search private practice online after the season finale has played? that's just asking for it. my surprise was spoiled via facebook... now that's another story
Ok, I understand that some shows are fair game as far as spoilers are concerned...but this is way too soon after the airing to put who died in the headline! Zap2it.com take a page from EW.com, they have class when it comes to spoilers...especially so soon after it airs.
I thought Dell's acceptance into medical school would be a good exit strategy. A death was a bit too much esp. Betsy is an orphan. Love that pete and violet are back together. I don't know any stories could be written for next season as things seem settled.
