'Parks and Recreation': Rob Lowe on hitting Pawnee and its romantic possibilities

It's a big week for Rob Lowe. His final episode of "Brothers & Sisters" airs Sunday, but he premieres on "Parks and Recreation" this Thursday, May 13 as Chris, the state auditor.

Lowe says the move between the drama and the comedy is "a mindblower" for him. His character, Chris, couldn't be any more different than Robert, the confident U.S. senator on "Brothers & Sisters."

According to Lowe, Chris is a total nerd and somewhat anal about how he wants things. Despite that, Chris has, well, Rob Lowe good looks. The actor hints that there may be a romantic play for the show's most sought after volunteer, Rashida Jones' Ann (of course).

omg yes! this is going to be my new favorite show!! i will have to start watching it on the night it airs instead of waiting for it to be on demand!

man and woman channel-- http://www.mannfemale.com
health is an important condition for the composition of charm! Charm from healthy start!

He came off less pretentious than I normally think of him in that interview. I'm still hesitant about him being added to the cast, because the second season of the show has been nearly flawless, and is imo the funniest comedy on tv right now. Hopefully Lowe does not detract from that, and his enthusiasm for the role is encouraging.

You know your career is in the toilet when you get a part on one of NBC's Thursday night sitcoms. Next stop, a reality show on "E".
