'Outlaw' video clips: Jimmy Smits seeks justice on NBC

outlaw-video.jpgTwo things about "Outlaw's" place on NBC's fall schedule are a little bit remarkable.

The first is that the show, which stars Jimmy Smits as a Supreme Court justice who leaves the bench to return to practicing law, had little buzz for most of pilot season before it zoomed up NBC's charts and ended up on the fall schedule (at 10 p.m. ET on Fridays).

The second, still odder, thing is that one of the show's executive producers is Conan O'Brien -- you know, the guy who was unceremoniously shown the door at NBC in January. O'Brien's company, Conaco, is producing the show, which "Alias" veteran John Eisendrath created.

The cast also includes Carly Pope ("24," "Popular"), Jesse Bradford ("The West Wing," "Bring It On"), David Ramsey ("Dexter") and Ellen Woglom ("Californication").

Now *this* is the kind of role I've been waiting to see Jimmy back in for some time now. If the writing is sharp enough, it could be a really strong show.

So glad Jimmy Smitt has a new
show, I hope that NBC will
see what a find actor he is and
we all wait for his return.

Please do not jump it around
all the time.

yeah, Jimmy Smits is back on TV!! It's about time!!

We can't wait for this show to air. What a great educational tool for bringing to light corruption which is running rampant in our "justice" system...resulting in way too many innocent men and women being sent to prison, some for life. Sometimes the only way to reach the public about this subject is a show like this. It's about time!

Outlaw's primese that if justice is wrong then it should be corected in that we are a nation of laws, then we should stand by these law and not be apart of Switzerland. no offence aganst that nation

I just heard this show was cancelled.
This was such a good show, it wasn't given a chance.
I think the Fri spot wasn't a good fit. Since most veiwers are not home on Fri nights. Put it on during the week, and you'll see how the ratings will shoot up.
NBC just doesn't know when they got a good thing.
As with everything else.
