'No Ordinary Family': ABC's new suburban superhero drama
Like NBC's "The Cape," ABC will also have its own superhero drama for the fall.
"No Ordinary Family" isn't about vigilanteism, but average people who become extraordinary.
Michael Chiklis and Julie Benz star as married couple Jim and Stephanie Powell, who are having trouble keeping their family unit close now that careers are interfering and their kids Daphne (Kay Panabaker) annd JJ (Jimmy Bennett) are teenagers.
A family vacation to mend their relationships takes an unexpected turn, however, when their plane crashes into the Amazon River. Once they return to civilization, they discover that each has developed superpowers.

Michael Chiklis can do anything (The Commish, The Shield...)but super power dad? He'll probably do great but it's not my thing so I won't see it..too bad

This looks AWESOME! Funny, witty, a little sarcastic... the perfect spin on the superhero thing. It looks much more fun than Heroes.
After the No Ordinary thing plays, scroll with the arrows and you will find a My Generation 3 minute video. That show looks pretty good, and so does this No Ordinary Family, but yet the Ordinary Family still reminds me of another Heroes.
