'Modern Family' 'Airport 2010' preview: 'Manny tied up in the backyard, big bowl of kibble'

The "Modern Family" crew is jetting off to Hawaii for Jay's birthday and we have a sneak peek at "Airport 2010" episode airing Wednesday, May 5 on ABC at 9 p.m. ET. The entire episode is set in the Los Angeles International Airport, which is genius. Can you find a truer family experience than being in an airport for hours on end?
We love Gloria bragging about the vacation and how much it cost her, then Jay actually mouthing that it cost HIM a fortune -- especially when he learns she invited the entire family. Meanwhile, Cameron is trying to have a last-minute playdate for Lily -- with Jasper, "a legacy at Happy Time Pre-School."
"Airport 2010" is the rev-up to the big Hawaiian episode on May 12, shockingly titled "Hawaii" -- we wonder if there will be a cursed Tiki Idol like when the Brady Bunch went to Hawaii. The season finale "Family Portrait" airs the follow week on May 19.

Look for this episode to soar way past last week's high ratings in viewer and demo numbers. Last week was so, so frickin hilarious and this week looks to top that. I've been waiting for the Hawaii episode ever since I first heard about it. Can't wait!
