Miss USA 2010: Miss Michigan Rima Fakih takes the crown
While Vegas odds might have been in Miss California's (Nicole Michele Johnson) favor, the 24-year-old from Westlake Village, CA only made it to the Top 10 before getting cut out of the Top 5.Rather, it was Miss Michigan (Rima Fakih) who took the crown. The Arab-American 24-year-old from Dearborn, MI beat out the four blondes that comprised the Top 5 for the title of Miss USA 2010.
However, things didn't always look so promising for Fakih. She actually received the lowest score (8.3) in the first competition (swimsuit) of the evening as compared to the five women who eventually made it to the Top 5. She also nearly fell when she stumbled over the train of her strapless gown.
But she made it through to the final interview round, where she was asked whether she thought birth control should be paid for by health insurance (yes, she believes it should).
Right after being crowned Miss USA, host Curtis Stone asked her, "How do you feel?" Her response: "Ask me after I have a pizza."

It's amazing to me how these skanks win these beauty contests! My wife for example is way prettier than this homely thing!
I didn't see the paegent, but I did see the pictures and based on the pictures my top five would be:
Miss Arkansas
Miss Washington
Miss Montana
Miss Oklahoma
Miss Pennsylvania (would place but wouldn't win because she's too top heavy and they don't look natural)
Honorable mention: Miss North Dakota.
Why didn't these contestants except for Miss OK place higher?

I think her answers were way off. she seemed a lil ditzy. does not seem like a smart girl at all. I like miss virginia.
It seems that the contest was fixed. There's no way Miss Michigan should have won based on her answers and scores compared to the other contestants! She defintely did not seem intelligent and was not articulate with her off the wall answers. Miss Virginia should have won!

Figures that the Arab would win. This is no longer America. The minority always complain if they lose, so now we give in to them. Certainly not the prettiest girl won and not the one who deserved it. These contests are crap now.
Well first of all...it is NOT a beauty contest and if your wife is such a beauty then she should go out put herself out there and enter and you should not talk about these women...Besides, calling these women skanks was soooo disrespectful.
So, I guess your wife is a skank as we well because you said that she would beat these BEAT LADIES!

And to bigcat, she's a Lebanese immigrant. Her family moved to the states when she was a baby, and she was raised in New York.
