'Lost' auditions: Michael Emerson as Hurley?!

With all the hype surrounding the "Lost" series finale on Sunday, May 23, we've rounded up the auditions of all your favorite Losties. Some of them are auditioning for the roles they eventually got, but some of them are definitely not auditioning for the roles we've come to love them as.
We already knew that Matthew Fox originally auditioned for Sawyer, but did you also know Yunjin Kim read for the part of Kate, Dominic Monaghan read for Sawyer and Michael Emerson read for Hurley?
We suspect the Emerson video might be a special spoof tape they made for Comic-Con but still. We cannot picture anyone other than Jorge Garcia uttering all those "dudes" over the last six seasons and Michael Emerson is so ingrained to us as the creepy Benjamin Linus ... hilarious.

The Emerson Hurley audition was done for last year's Comic con. It is not a real audition tape.

Yeah - Michael Emerson didn't even audition until long after Jorge was playing Hurley - so must have been a joke
This audition is from Comic-Con - I was there and it was hilarious - they also made a theme song for the show :)
They're all on the DVDs/Blu-rays of season 1 except the Emmerson one since it was created for Comic-Con.
The character of Hurley wasn't even in the show originally, but was created especially for Jorge Garcia after they saw him audition for Sawyer.
I think I speak for everyone when I ask, Where's the Vincent audition?
Naveen Andrews was really good. Josh Holloway, cute as ever.
Yunjin was really good, but not right for Kate. I'm glad they wrote Sun for her.
Sawyer was perfect - OMG - they probably hired him for the dimples. :)
