'Heroes': Gone from it, but not forgotten, for Missy Peregrym
Missy Peregrym hasn't had "Heroes" worship for a while, but she'd still be sad if the show's end has come.Most recently of "Reaper," the actress played illusion-generator Candice Wilmer early in the run of the NBC fantasy-drama series, which the network hasn't renewed for a fifth season yet. She tells Zap2it, "I know there are a lot of fans for 'Heroes,' and I think it would be a bummer if they canceled it this soon.
"It's a different point of view when you're working in it, because you understand that you just never know how long things are long to last. They've had a pretty great run so far, and I hope it can carry on for them."
Peregrym admits she hasn't kept up with "Heroes" since leaving the show -- "I'm pretty terrible at watching TV" -- and she attributes that largely to the long hours she spent making "Reaper" for The CW two seasons. Starring next in "Rookie Blue," an ABC police drama premiering June 24, the Montreal native has kept working steadily in television projects since her "Heroes" tenure.
"I have no complaints at all," she says. "I've been really blessed."

Missy was great on reaper, what a fun show! However blame NBC and the show writers for this issue. I am usually always for giving a show a chance but Heroes has had many chances and fails each and every time. It's time to let it die they killed it a few seasons ago.
Reaper was just hitting its stride when it was canceled. Too bad. But Heroes is in a ditch and needs to be put out of its misery quickly.
"This soon?"... Unfortunately this show was done after S1... I know, I lasted until midway S3...
I discovered Heroes at the end of S3, fell in love with it, and would hate to see it go now. I loved Reaper too and it was cancelled. There just is very little cause for me to watch TV, since my shows seem to the first ones cancelled.
