TV of Tomorrow: Fall TV Preview 2010
'Glee' goes early as FOX announces 2010-11 schedule
"Glee" is movin' on up -- to 8 o'clock. FOX has decided to slot the show at 8 p.m. ET on Tuesdays in the fall, where it will lead into a pair of new comedies, "Raising Hope" (formerly "Keep Hope Alive") and "Running Wilde." The only other new show on the fall schedule is "Lonestar," a drama that will air at 9 p.m. Mondays after "House."
Both "Lie to Me" and "Human Target" also found spots on the fall schedule, with "Lie to Me" moving into the 8 p.m. Wednesday slot ("Hell's Kitchen" airs at 9). "Human Target" goes to Fridays at 8, where it will be paired with "The Good Guys," which will launch this summer before moving onto the fall schedule.
Thursday's "Bones"-"Fringe" lineup stays intact, as does the Sunday animation lineup.
Midseason, as usual, will bring a bunch of changes. Shawn Ryan's police drama "Ride-Along" will share the 9 p.m. Monday slot with "Lonestar," while "Glee" will jump to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays. "American Idol" is currently -- and we stress "currently," since FOX's plans almost always change -- to have 90-minute performance shows on Tuesdays and just a half-hour results show at 8:30 on Wednesdays. "Running Wilde" and another new comedy, "Mixed Signals" (formerly "Traffic Light"), will air at 9:30 on Tuesdays, and "Raising Hope" will go at 8 on Wednesdays before the "Idol" results.
There's also a new animated show, "Bob's Burgers," set for Sundays at midseason, and a sci-fi series called "Terra Nova" that doesn't yet have a place on the midseason slate.

Why move Human Target to the dead zone Fridays? And what happens to Glee with Idol returns? It gets bumped all around. I hate that! Terrible schedule.
"when" Idol returns
I take it So You Think You Can Dance will not be run during the fall then? The fall season didn't have a good flow and timing with all the interuptions. That is best in the summer when there isn't anything else on.
So is it safe to assume that Human Target and Good Guys will be cancelled quickly?
