TV of Tomorrow: Fall TV Preview 2010

FOX's 2010 Fall TV schedule, night by night

running-wilde-will-arnett-keri-russell-320.jpgFOX is adding more laughs to its fall lineup.

The network announced Monday (May 17) that it's getting four new comedies and three new dramas for its 2010-2011 schedule.

The family comedy "Raising Hope" and romantic comedy "Running Wilde" starring Will Arnett and Keri Russell will join newcomer drama "Lonestar," set in the backdrop of big Texas oil, for the fall.

Midseason will see the addition of the animated comedy "Bob's Burgers," the prehistoric family adventure drama "Terra Nova" from executive producer Steven Spielberg and the action-packed drama "Ride-Along," while the comedy "Mixed Signals" won't debut till the spring.

As Zap2it reported earlier, the musical sensation "Glee" moves an hour earlier in its sophomore season, and a special episode of it gets the coveted post-Super Bowl XLV spot.

I have little or no confidence in "suits" who are not able to produce anything even half as exciting as PRISON BREAK; SLEEPER CELL AND THE UNIT. ALL
are available on Netflix. Can't leave out "24" and CSI Miami. The CLOSER is my other favorite. aiting for it to come on next month.

OF COURSE FOX proves it's support for Human Target by banishing it to Friday nights to die. Thanks, a$%hats!

So where will X-Factor fit into the new schedule? Are they going to wait to see how American Idol does in the ratings next season?

how many white trash show will Greg Garcia make, raising hope is about a white trash familøy that looks worse then earl

Bring back Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles!!!!!!!!!

Hard to be optimistic for FOX. It brings back Human Target, which without AI will likely completely tank.

Similarly, Glee without AI will likely collapse.

Bringing Lie To Me and its 5 million viewers and dropping is a complete joke and shows they have no interest in winning Wednesdays (but I'd love to know what political games occurred to get Kevin Reilly to renew this proven ratings-loser).

On Thursday, FOX will see no progress as Bones still won't be able to boost Fringe enough to make it a hit.

Fringe is another show that owes its survival to politics, to the detriment of the viewing public and the shareholders of News Corp.

FOX needed a lot more new blood but chose to bring back losing shows, even after they were excoriated at the News Corp conference call. How Rupert Murdoch can square that circle and accept bad management of that kind remains to be seen.

@hollandjwm: Given Human Target didn't have the numbers to deserve renewal, any presence is sign of great political backing for that show.

Also, FOX keeps entrusting its Sunday fate to the ever under-performing Seth MacFarlane. Why?

FOX is driven by politics, not the pursuit of higher ratings and the results are painful to see. :(

Fox nees to bring back Firefly and give it a chance this time

I've said it again and again...there won't be much of anything worth watching on network television in 2011.

I have my sights set on "The Event" and "No Ordinary Family". Wow this Fox lineup looks disgustingly terrible on paper.
