'Dancing With the Stars' sans Kate Gosselin AND Pam Anderson: Will interest wane (even more)?
Ok, so maybe Kate Gosselin and Pamela Anderson weren't the best dancers on "Dancing With the Stars," but there's something to be said for the pure amusement we got from watching them on the dance floor ... for different reasons of course.Kate kept us entertained with her stiff, awkward moves and lifeless face that became great fodder for late night TV (and entertainment writers, ahem) -- and Pamela, well, as Bruno Tonioli summed it up: "I can only think of sex, sex and more sex. The dirtier the better!"
We also tuned in to see if Kate would go or stay on one more week -- and we did the same for Pamela's clothes (we never did get that wardrobe malfunction).
"DWTS" ratings have continued to drop each week since the reality TV mom's exit, and if some of Zap2it's readers' comments are any indication, Pam's elimination Tuesday (May 4) night might continue the trend:
Mr. G: Now that Pamela's gone the show is worthless. Goodbye ABC see ya next season!
Liz: Pam totally spiced up the show. The remaining contestants seem a bit blah... Might have to wait 'til fall to watch again!
Norma and'Paul-Émile (on Zap2it's Facebook page): not gonna watch that farce of a show now ;(

I ONLY WATCHED THE SHOW FOR KATE, PAM LOOKED LIKE AN OLD LADY IN MAKEUP. THE SHOW IS SOO OVER WITHOUT KATE.
When Donny Osmund won the last season and now that poor excuse for a dancer Chad Ohsostinko is on the show I've lost all interest.
I agree, Chad is no dancer, neither is Niecy, but,stranger yet, one of the best dancers, Erin, to be in the bottom 2..Pamela was getting better, and I think better than Chad or Niecy, but, when voters vote for the "person" or their "kind" over the better dancer, the judges should step in and veto the vote if they know it's wrong...
I like Pam. I realy thought she could dance. Kate could not dance a lick and glad she is long gone....Hopefully, she is home taking care of her brood the way she should be....
KATE WAS NOT THE DRAW FOR THE SHOW OTHER THAN AS A POINT OF RIDICULE. Pamela did quite well dancing and was a true asset to the show. Niecy should have gone this week and Chad should go next week. I hope Erin wins as she has no job connection with any 'type' of dance moves (be it singer/dancer or ice skater/dancer type).
I watched only for Kate...she had the least experience of performing and I think she is a beautiful mother doing what she can to support her 8 kids. I thought the judges were too brutal though!
Hey, someone agrees...Niecy, who cannot dance, should have gone this week, and Chad next week is right....why did they send home Pam..she had it over the other 2 above..guess it makes you wonder WHO is voting, and easy to figure out after this week...
I stopped watching DWTS after the first results show, when it was exposed for the farce that it is.
I see the professional dancer posing as a contestant is still on the show. Gee, what a surprise :-(
Kate Gosselin is a selfish bitoch-period, can't stand her at all, Kate said she made the rating go up, um-Pamela Anderson made the ratings go up. I ff through Kates nasty dancing and attitude. Glad she is gone, hope she stays gone 4-ever.
I agree 100% with barbee's comment. Nicole is the last person i want to see win this show.
