'Dancing With the Stars': Nicole Scherzinger back on top with five 10s
Evan Lysacek might have stolen the show last week by earning triple 10s, but this Monday (May 10) Nicole Scherzinger outshined the Olympic gold medalist with five 10s (Len kept her from two perfect scores by giving her a nine for her foxtrot).This was the first week on "Dancing With the Stars" that the dancers had to learn and perform two dances, which the judges noted caused some problems for Chad Ochocinco and Niecy Nash (who earned a 45 and 43 respectively). But Scherzinger nailed both her foxtrot and her '50s-inspired paso doble, earning 59/60 and high praise from the judges.
Bruno Tonioli called her foxtrot "one and half minutes of pure dancing joy" and exclaimed that "the flavor of Spain has never tasted so good!" of her paso doble.
Carrie Ann Inaba told her she's "defying [her] imagination" with her foxtrot and called her paso doble "brilliant."
Len Goodman might have held out with a nine for her foxtrot, but he still called it "irresistible." After her paso doble, he commented, "It's not in my nature to be nice about two dances in one night, but there was nothing I could see to criticize."
While Lysacek might have been feeling extra competitive this week, his scores didn't quite live up to his expectations. He earned 53/60 and tied with Erin Andrews for second place. No 10s for Lysacek this week, but Andrews scored a 10 from Goodman for her Argentine tango.

OMG! Two brilliant performances! The 2nd dance that combined the Paso Doble with 50's style dance music just blew me away. Derek Hough has got to be one of the all-time great choreographers on that show. That routine had nonstop WOW factored into it. Just like Carrie Ann said my eyes and brain got a workout trying to catch every little piece of dance phrasing. Fantastic dance and phenomenal choreography!

yeah that's the problem and why i won't vote for her. she shouldn't even be on this show. others have had some dance experience, but she way over-crossed that line.
poor Janey... i suggest they should change this to DWTS w/o dance experience to disqualify nicole. but that's not the whole thing. nicloe being a star qualifies her for this show. so. stfu!
I don't even think she should be on this show. She has way to much experience and it't not fair to the other stars. If she wins I will never watch this show again
Nicole has an incredible work ethic and is willing to do anything to attempt perfection. She has performance experience as a booty-shaking pop singer, but does not have ballroom dancing experience any more than several on previous seasons
ooooooooooh Evan, a little sensitive about Nicole...anyway i have a right to hate her on the show, not vote for her, and say it! and a lot of others agree with me too! so STFU yourself. LOSER.
Does anyone know what Chad said to Cheryl after the judges' votes of their final dance? It looked like an awkward moment but I missed what was said.
I like Nicole and I do think she works hard. Her dancing is beautiful, but you have to admit it's unfair to stars like Niecy to campare them.
