Box office: 'Iron Man 2' beats 'Robin Hood' for Friday night win
"Iron Man 2" battled its way to the top spot on its second Friday in release, beating out Ridley Scott's "Robin Hood" reboot. Robert Downey Jr.'s second installment of "Iron Man" grossed an estimated $15 million on Friday. That's about a 70% drop from its opening night, but enough to beat out Russell Crowe's latest period action flick. "Robin Hood" has received lukewarm reviews from critics, but it still earned a respectable $13 million, according to estimates. "Iron Man 2" will likely win the weekend.
"Letters to Juliet," starring Amanda Seyfried and Vanessa Redgraves, earned an estimated $5 million on Friday. Queen Latifah's new film, "Just Wright," grossed less than $3 million.
Warner Bros.' horror remake "A Nightmare on Elm Street" is still scaring some folks in its second week in theaters, landing in fifth place with an estimated $1.5 million.

Robin Hoods been made about 50 times.....and he has no super powers :)
Russell Crowe is the least likable movie star around. I hope he falls off the face of the earth. I dislike him intensely.
this is actually "nightmares" third week in theatres. you should fix that.
Russell Crowe is now boxoffice poison after lukewarm reviewed Robin Hood got lukewarm opening weekend. When was his last hit movie? Whatever he makes a movie now needs to be cut in half. He's toxic on and off screen based on his walking out on a British interview for his summer also-ran movie.
Paltrow and Crowe are people I would never pay to see.
