'Big Brother' returns to CBS on July 8

Season 12 of "Big Brother" is coming back to your television sets on Thursday, July 8, according to a promo that aired during the "Survivor" finale on CBS Sunday, May 16.It's probably safe to assume the tri-weekly schedule will then pick up on Sunday, July 11 and continue until the September finale. The show traditionally airs on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday nights, with Thursdays being the live eviction show.
Open casting calls for the 12th edition of "Big Brother" just wrapped at the end of April, so they are most likely still narrowing down the crazypants applicants to find just the right combination for summer TV shenanigans.
