'American Idol': Siobhan Magnus sings 'Paint it Black' on Letterman
We're going to miss Siobhan Magnus on "American Idol."
The singer from Massachusetts visited the "Late Show" Monday night (May 3) and was greeted by a very supportive David Letterman.
Well, that is, after he got over the fact that her multicolored legs were not tattooed but only clad in tights, then he told her that he had wanted her to win.
They also discussed the wonderful craft of glass blowing before she launched into a "Paint It Black," perhaps one of our favorite songs of hers from "Idol."
Also check out Magnus singing "Superstition" on "Access Hollywood."

Letterman said some nice things, but also struck a cool and diffident pose. Doesn't care for Idol, but supposes Siobhan would make a good one.
However, Paul Shraeder and the band dug the heck out of Siobhan.
A) That's not what he said;
what he said was: "You are
OUR American Idol, as far as
WE are concerned".
B) The Band Leader's name is
Paul Shaffer; but, yes: the
CBS Orchestra seems to like
Siobhan a lot. They should.
i hope idol launched siobhan's career just so i can hear her again and again. that girl has amazing pipes...and her quirkiness is cool...
I thought Siobhan would at least.. make it to the final two. That Girl can Sing !!!! Keep up the good work and Practice Siobhan. You WILL BE the American Idle Next year!!! You had my vote from the Very start!
As far as I am concerned Siobhan with you voted off American Idle is over until next season! Keep Practicing you have been blessed with a fantastic voice Siobhan....Ronnie P. From Herrin, IL.
Most critics had considered her the top favorite and probably one of the best performers to ever appear on the American Idol stage. For some unknown reason Simon chose to polarize her unusual style early on in the show, which mislead many viewers to think she wasn't Idol winner worthy. Some day in the near future, historians will be referring to the late Simon Cowell as the judge that had disrespected the famous Siobhan on a once popular and now defunct talent show.
