'American Idol': Simon Cowell to visit Oprah, may be knighted
Simon Cowell might be queen-hopping.The "American Idol" host is scheduled to visit queen of talk Oprah Winfrey on her show Thursday, May 20 to say so long to the hit FOX reality show before heading to "The X-Factor."
"After 9 years as the judge everyone loves to hate on American Idol, Simon Cowell is saying goodbye," states Oprah.com. "In an exclusive farewell interview, he opens up about why he decided to leave and what comes next."
Then, there have been rumors that Cowell, 50, will be knighted at the Queen's birthday honors to be held on June 12, reports the UK's Mirror.
Supposedly, he'll be recognized for his contribution to Britain's entertainment industry, but also for his humanitarian works, such as arranging the fundraising CD for the Haiti earthquake victims.

The show (American Idol) will never be the same without Simon. When he leaves it will be a sad day for American Idol.
I WILL MISS SIMON VERY MUCH & THE SHOW JUST WILL NOT BE THE SAME. I'LL HAVE TO WAIT & SEE WHO HIS REPLACEMENT WILL BE BEFORE I DECIDE WHETHER OR NOT THIS IS MY LAST SEASON!!!!
