'American Idol': Simon Cowell gives Ryan Seacrest judging tips

GoogleOn Wednesday (May 19), "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest posted to YouTube a little video he made with judge (for now) Simon Cowell the day before, immediately following the Final 3's performance show.
After they meander through the parking lot, Cowell leads Seacrest into his double-decker trailer and we get a glimpse at the large-screen TV, the refrigerator that could feed a family of six and JLS, Cowell's latest boy band sensation.
Seacrest makes small talk with the band members and then gets them to do a little a capella something for the camera.
Cowell tells Seacrest that he should consider it an audition "for what possibly could happen with you on the show next year" and advising him on how it's done: "You look interested throughout and then you say something positive afterwards."
Well, maybe if you're Paula Abdul that's what you do.
JLS does their thing and Seacrest looks at Cowell with surprise.
"You know what I'm thinking? I'm depressed that I didn't discover them."
Hey, maybe if Ryan moves over to the judges table next season they can bring Cat Deeley in as host. She has some downtime when "So You Think You Can Dance" isn't on.

Can't find the Like button, but I'm going to miss Simon TERRIBLY on American Idol. I so wish he would change his mind; at least stay on for Season 10.
I have loved American Idol for the past 10 seasons. But I think Simon is right. Even I think this is the last season I will watch it. Just getting kind of old and tired.
