'American Idol' Lee DeWyze covers 'Beautiful People' -- listen!
Lee DeWyze recorded a few songs back in Chicago before he became the next "American Idol." One of them that never got released was an acoustic cover of Marilyn Manson's "Beautiful People," which is a Manson song we actually quite like. But how does Lee's acoustic cover sound? We'd have to say it sounds pretty great. What do you think?
In other Lee news, he's going to be at Walt Disney World on Monday, May 31 for a Memorial Day parade, so if you're in the Orlando area, you should check it out. Between Lee's "Beautiful People" and Crystal Bowersox's "Holy Toledo," we feel like we're in for a treat when their albums drop. The record deals were inked last week.

Terrible, I'm sorry but some songs shouldn't be done acoustically or slowed down.
Chris Daughtry, Blake Lewis, and Adam Lambert made their new versions of a cover work. This doesn't
I like the songs on the Slumerland album better.
The Lee DeWyze Blog has had this up for about a week. There's even an exclusive free download of "Beautiful People"! Check it out: http://lee-dewyze.blogspot.com/2010/05/exclusive-free-gift-for-lee-dewyze-fans.html
Heard this cover a few months ago and I absolutely LOVE it! AWESOME!
nice try, but i don't think he listened to the lyrics before creating this version.
It's kind of boring, really. No real emotion to it.
How do we listen to it? There's no link.
