'American Idol': Lady Gaga begs 'Alejandro' to let go
Lady Gaga's "Alejandro" lyrics and performance completely captivated the "American Idol" audience."Just stop please, just let me go Alejandro, just let me go," she sang on the May 5th elimination episode.
The performance was actually taped last Wednesday (April 28), and we can see why live would have been pretty tricky.
Pyrotechnics, a giant statue of an angel and several shirtless male dancers added to the gothic spectacle that surrounded Gaga, who was dressed in very little.
She began enshrouded in a black mesh cape with a low hood, playing a pretty version of "Bad romance" on the piano. At some point, however, she shed the mesh and began to writhe on the floor and exhibited some pretty impressive dance moves that occasionally looked like yoga routines.

I love Gaga - but to be frank (Sinatra) that was an appalling performance!
As for Idol - to be honest aside from Crystal I really couldn't care less who gets sent home!
This has been a terrible Idol season and the producers really need to get their act together for next season...

Yes I thought Ace of Base within 2 seconds of the performance last night... still a great song... I liked the performance.
