'American Idol': Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora are 'Superman Tonight'

The "American Idol" results show to determine Season 9's Top 3 got the honor of Bon Jovi's presence.

Jon Bon Jovi rocked out to "Superman Tonight" Wednesday night (May 12) and was joined by his band, including guitarist Richie Sambora.

It was a catchy song, but the lyrics are a little bittersweet if you listen to them:

When the stars fall from your sky
