'American Idol': Adam Lambert rocks Wango Tango in parachute pants
Adam Lambert commanded the Staples Center all in black over the weekend.The "American Idol" runner up performed at 102.7 KIIS' Wango Tango 2010 in Los Angeles on Saturday, May 15.
He didn't disappoint with his set list, which included "Whataya Want From Me," "Fever," "Sleepwalker" and new single "If I Had You."
He also delivered in the fashion department, with an elaborately detailed jacket and what appeared to be Hammer pants. Wow. Of course, those aren't as cool as his kilt.

I always think Adam looks great, but not this time, do not like those pants at all.
He was great!! He rocked the house! Even the Beiber fans were screaming for him. Loved it!!
According to Lyndsey Parker who was there he put on a really good show. One guy who is in the music industry tweeted Holy sheet that guy can really sing! FYI the haircut in the pants according to the UK fans on twitter are all the rage over there. That's probably where he picked it up from
Loved the jacket. Loved when he wore that kilt too. He really pulled that off big time. The pants though I prefer seeing him in the skin tight jeans that show off the Glambuldge. Oopss....did I say that outloud?
Adam and his dancers are geling big time. It looks really good on stage. There was one part of the performance where Adam walked toward the back and Monte and Tommy came over and flanked him on both sides. That was really cool. The audience for the most part were filled with preteen and early teen girls and their parents. It was a Bieber audience. But I would say Adam got a huge response from the audience. I think Akon, Ludicris and Usher scared the little girls. People in the music industry and a lot of reporters got the very up front seats. They gave fans the up front seats that were off to the far right and left but dead center of stage in the very front were the people with press passes or connections. I was in the front but toward the back of the front. Paid a fortune too. Kesha still can't sing live. Bieber isn't that good but the tweens loved him of course. It was a really long day. It started early with a lot of outdoor acts.

Loved Adam's performance and the pants and hair. Great job! Getting better each performance. Loved the dancers also.
OMG!!!! And this guy didn't win American Idol???!!!! WTF!!Well, I guess some guy from a church did, who no one will remember after 6 months. Adam is the real winner. He is becoming a huge star!
Not digging the hybrid Hammer/Vanilla Ice look. However, his talent and performance overshadow the fashion fiasco.
Love the vocals, love the show, hate the pants. Adam is obviously free to wear whatever he wants, but I hope to never see the pants again.
