ABC sends 'Ghost Whisperer' into the light

It came down last week that CBS canceled its Friday night supernatural drama "Ghost Whisperer," which was a bit surprising considering the network kept its Friday night spooky partner "Medium" and that "Whisperer" consistently won its time slot.There were talks that the Jennifer Love Hewitt vehicle would move to ABC but those rumors have been nixed by Executive Producers Kim Moses and Ian Sander. "After five wonderful seasons and over 100 episodes, we are disappointed to announce 'Ghost Whisperer' will not be returning for a sixth season," the EPs said in a statement.
Never fear, JLW fans! She will be hitting the screen in Marc Erlbaum's drama "Cafe" later this year, which tells the story of tragedy striking a small community and the realization of how the lives of regular cafe customers are entwined.
What say you, "Ghost Whisperer" fans? Sad it won't be crossing over to ABC?

Always looked forward to Friday nights. CBS totally lost me watching too. I would only tune in for Medium because it was on after GW. Don't care to waste my time watching that show now. RIP Ghost Whisperer. :/

I think that CBS picked the right time to cancel "Ghost Whisperer",it's timefor both CBS and the star of the show, Jennifer Love Hewitt, to move forward.

CBS and ABC are fools. I'm a new fan and fell in love with the show and bought ever season on DVD. And that isn't cheap. But, that's how much I love it. Not only does Ghost Whisperer star one of the most beautiful, talent Actress, Jennifer Love Hewitt it's an outstanding show that offers, mystery and suspence and of course Ghost. It has a wonderful love story with Jennifer Love Hewitt and David Conrad as Melinda and Jim. Please other cable networks consder picking the show up and let's stop Ghost Whisperer from crossing over.
I can't believe you canceled Ghost Whisperer and kept Medium. We always changed the channel after GW and then went back to Numbers. I do have to admit this year it got more creepy and we didn't like her son. Didn't think he was a very good actor but the show itself was great. With all the crap that could of gone off and wouldn't of been missed you canceled GW. Who makes these decisions anyway? They should be canned.
You people at CBS and ABC are stupid and do not know what they are missing you want to put stupid shows that show no morals on them by sexing up everything. CBS you know that Ghost Whisperer is so much better than Medium come on. There are a lot more loyal GW fans than there ever will be Medium. I love Ghost Whisperer I look forward to Fridays all the time and if GW is not on it is like torture waiting for it the next week.
