'Ugly Betty' the movie? Vanessa Williams says 'absolutely'
First America Ferrera told Zap2it's The Dish Rag she's in, then Ana Ortiz voiced her support and now Vanessa Williams has added her stamp of approval for an "Ugly Betty" movie."It was an extraordinary group of people," Williams tells ContactMusic.com. "The ensemble was great, the directors were great - the writers - the whole team. It was unique. Yes, an Ugly Betty movie, absolutely."
Williams who played the smart and villainous Wilhelmina Slater, who plotted her takeover of Mode through out the series' four seasons, went on to describe how hard it was to say goodbye to the show.
"We did not want to leave," she says. "Our last week, none of us wanted to leave the table. None of us wanted to finish the words we were saying."

I would love to see an "Ugly Betty" movie. It would be nice to see the hinted toward ending of Daniel and Betty actually come into fruition. I think it would be a really fun film!
I agree, I'd love to see an "Ugly Betty" movie. Yes the finale was the perfectly bittersweet but it made me want more. "Sex And The City" ended perfectly bittersweet and look, we're now in the sequal...plus I want to know what happens with that dinner with Daniel and Betty, how Justin is enjoying his self expression with Austin, Papi enjoying and adjusting to the empty nest syndrome and how Hilda is enjoying being married plus the antic of Wilhemina and Mark....etc....I already miss it....
I think it would be absolutely fantastic to see an Ugly Betty movie. After the series finale I wondered if Daniel & Betty will ever get together romantically. It could be an awesome film

I would love to see an Ugly Betty movie! I personally think it would be a hit if given the proper promotion, which ABC did not do this past year for this groundbreaking series and why it was cancelled.
