I watched "Who do you think you are?" for the first time last night and found it quite interesting. Is NBC bringing it back for another season?
I'm pretty sure I read they picked it up for more episodes next season, JustMe.
THIS FAMILY TREE SHOW IS ABOUT AS THRILLING AS WATCHING PAINT DRY
If you enjoy history Who Do You Think You Are? can be fascinating. I've really enjoyed the episodes I've seen. I think you can relate to the peopole who discover fascinating ancestors and family secrets. It's educational and the mystery and surprising discoveries make it fun. It's like winning the contest drawing for a big prize or finding out the ugly painting in the attic is a masterpiece. I hope they bring it back. It's the right way to do a reality show.
re Who Do You Think You Are?, but it is awfully slow moving. *yawn* it won it's hour yeah, but still, it's ratings were nothing to write home about. esp against a crop of horsesh#t and repeats. Glee is re-running very poorly, not a good sign for the show. and, CBS should definitely can Miami Medical.
Friday night is pretty much a dead night for TV. In fall it is football night, in spring it is just a forgotten time zone. Programmers put no energy into programming this night whatsoever.
Last night's episode of 'Who Do You Think You Are' was the best yet, though I've only seen part of 1 or 2 others... they just didn't hold my interest. I mean, who cares that Brooke Shields is somehow related to minor European royalty?
But, I have discovered a temporary fix for lousy Friday programming, at least from 9-11 pm - ION TV's reruns of Criminal Minds.
Wow, none of the networks really care about Friday night do they? lol
The only thing I watched on Friday was Numb3rs. I miss my Friday nights with them dearly. It was like a family night with them.
Friday nights are turning into saturday nights folks, a dump fest for network programming and just a pity too. ABC tanked, which isn't a surprise and NBC is just renewing stuff for the sake of doing so to keep something on the air during their 3 hour block of primetime. I don't recommend anything on ION though.
Networks gave up on Saturday nights and turned them over to repeats.
Is the same thing going to happen to Friday nights as well?
