TV Land Awards 2010: 'Glee' snags award; David Hasselhoff sings 'Don't Stop Believing'

dianna-agron-david-hasselhoff-tv-land-awards-2010.jpgTV Land paid it's yearly tribute to television shows no longer on the air during the "8th Annual TV Land Awards" on Sunday (April 25).

This year's award recipients included '70s and '80s classics like the Tom Hanks/Peter Scolari comedy "Bosom Buddies," "The Love Boat," and "Charlie's Angels." Comedy legends Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner rightly received the Legend Award, and "Everybody Loves Raymond" got the Impact Award.

TV Land always reserves one award for a show they predict will be a "future classic," and this year FOX's hit show "Glee" snagged the honor.

Chris Colfer accepted the Future Classic Award on the show's behalf, followed by Jane Lynch with a few words. She shared that she had just been reflecting on if "Glee" ever had a 30 year anniversary (which "Bosom Buddies" was honored for), she'd "probably be dead" -- but told her fellow castmates, "I hope you have fun."

The beloved Betty White also graced the stage with her "Hot in Cleveland" castmates Wendie Malick and Jane Leeves (Valerie Bertinelli wasn't present) to promote TV Land's first original sitcom, which debuts on June 16.

Musical guests during the show included Blondie (who received the Icon Award) and -- wait for it -- David Hasselhoff, who was joined by "Taxi's" Marilu Henner and a star-studded cast of TV veterans for the finale. The Hoff and company paid tribute to Future Classic winner "Glee" by singing "Don't Stop Believing."

Hi Terry and Frank 1234. Your names should be "adulterous skanks with no morals or love for your spouse."

Is there a show yet entitled "Desperate Perverts?" If not, you've inspired one.

I would have liked to have seen a video tribute to John Forsythe in addition to the one shown for Farrah Fawcett... since Charlie's Angels was being honored.

I thought that there would be more oldie shows acknowledged, like Three's Company and honoring the late John Ritter unless they have done that in the past and I didn't get to see?
