'True Blood': Creator Alan Ball introduces new comic book series
"True Blood" fans will now get a whole new view of the HBO show in a new comic book series."I am very excited to be introducing the 'True Blood' comic book series," says creator and executive producer, Alan Ball. "These graphic novels are a great companion to the series and we are pleased that the popularity of the show is allowing it to branch out into different mediums."
HBO officially announced the comic book series Friday (April 2) at WonderCon, the annual comic book festival held in San Francisco. The network and IDW Publishing promise that the series will offer "new and unique layers of supernatural drama."
While the first issue of the comic book will be available in July at Comic Con in San Diego, you can pre-order it at the HBO website now.
