'So You Think You Can Dance,' 'Hell's Kitchen' swap nights
FOX has played around with its summer schedule, flipping nights for its flagship series "Hell's Kitchen" and "So You Think You Can Dance" and giving a home to its new culinary competition, "MasterChef."The network had previously announced that "SYTYCD" would air on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Instead, FOX has decided to run the show on Wednesday and Thursday. The new season kicks off with a two-hour premiere on Thursday, May 27, with the first Wednesday episode set for June 2.
Also on Thursdays, repeats of "Glee" will air at 8 p.m. ET starting June 10.
"Hell's Kitchen," which had originally been scheduled for Thursdays, will instead move to Tuesday nights. It will open its seventh season at 8 p.m. June 1, where it will be paired with the final two episodes of "Glee" before expanding to two hours on June 15.
"MasterChef" will join "Hell's Kitchen" on Tuesday nights starting July 27, making a full night of food fare. The new show, produced by "Hell's Kitchen's" Gordon Ramsay, will give amateur cooks a chance to work with professionals, including Ramsay, as they compete for the "MasterChef" title.
