'Project Runway': A designer drops out, another returns
"Project Runway" gets dramatic Thursday (April 1) when a designer decides he/she can't take it anymore.
After saying adieu to Anthony in the previous episode, we have left: Emilio, Maya, Seth Aaron, Jay, Mila and Jonathan.
One of them will decide to bow out of the competition though. From this clip, it appears that Tim Gunn is the bearer of bad news and that it's Seth Aaron who's leaving, but you be the judge:

Well if it is SA I'll be shocked....I mean I would assume anyone tha left would do so because of an emergency, death, or something like that but if they just decide to leave because it's super difficult...I dunno know, doesn't seem like SA to me.
Wasn't Maya the only one conspiculously absent from Fashion Week? There were 10 designers who showed (thanks stupid Lifetime for that) and I'm pretty sure Seth Aaron showed his collection.
I agree with Ashley. Seth Aaron doesn't seem like the type to crumble under pressure, not to mention that previews are always deliberately misleading. And Mira's correct, there's been a lot of buzz about why Maya didn't show at Fashion Week. Seems like the show has been playing up how young she is (even in her own words) so that's probably foreshadowing.
If they bring someone back, please let it be Anthony ... and I hope that SA is not the one leaving ...
I am just wondering could this be a april fools joke because really who has ever actually dropped out of project runway b4.
I don't know, but I recall that on S4 CHRIS MARCH (the chubby costume designer that's as colorful as Anthony is, if you don't remember...) had to come back 'cause some other contestant quitted.
He ranked 4th that season (lasted until a run-off vs. Rami Kasou (sp?), the "classical draper".
So, it HAD HAPPANED BEFORE...
Anthony is fun, but Jesse got screwed in order to protect both Emilio and Seth Aaron, the 2 clear worsties int he hardware, so I think it would be fair. Anthony skills were not that great.
The one beefy gay guy quit because he got sick in Christian's season.
Chris March came back because Jack was sick enough that his doctor pulled him from the show.
I doubt its Seth Aaron that leaves the show. The previews are always misleading.
Considering Seth Aaron will probably win this season or be runner up to Maya, it would be a damn shame if he left. I love his designs. I'd say his stock in the fashion world is skyrocketing. The man is gifted.
Closed captioning last week had the name "Maya" when Tim was talking, though they edited the clip to omit him orally saying the name.
