Melissa Etheridge on 'The View': Crystal Bowersox is 'really sweet ... She's real.'

"American Idol" Season 9 favorite Crystal Bowersox is not just liked by voters and the judges -- singer Melissa Etheridge is also a fan.Etheridge tells the ladies of "The View," about seeing the "American Idol" finalists a few nights ago and Crystal Bowersox reminding Etheridge that they met a few years ago when Crystal went backstage at one of Melissa's shows in Chicago.
"I signed her guitar and that's the guitar that she uses," Etheridge relays. "She's really sweet, I like her. She's real." Apparently Etheridge's kids actually recognized the Melissa signature on Crystal's guitar before Melissa did one night when they were watching "Idol." How cool is that?
Crystal Bowersox is definitely the frontrunner so far, can anybody beat her? Also, we think this Melissa Etheridge love can only mean one thing -- duet for the "American Idol" finale! Make it happen, FOX.
