Jay Leno sits down with Joy Behar behind the scenes of her show and speaks candidly about "The Tonight Show" situation."Conan got screwed, I got screwed. I mean, this is TV," says Leno. "The reason show business pays a lot of money is so when you get screwed, you got something left over."
We would certainly call $33 million "something"
"Conan was treated terribly and I was treated terribly," Leno continues. "I think Conan will come back and he'll be strong and we'll all compete against each other. It should be against Letterman against Conan against Kimmel."
That seems like a very healthy attitude, but it's easy to have that attitude when you're the one who got "The Tonight Show" back.

Yeah, you got screwed and Conan got screwed. What did Conan get $40 million; for getting his butt kicked by Letterman and getting fired. Jay got a Ton of money for his 10PM showed that failed then went back to 11:30 for a ton more money.
Jay, give it up.
Ratings for your 18-34 demo are in the hole for a reason.
Jay is funny. Conan is not. Conan didn't get screwed. He just couldn't hack it. I work retail. Do you think my district manager is gonna keep me in my store if we don't make any money? Hell no. Same with TV. It's a business. Conan wasn't making anyone any money. He had to go.
Leno will always be KING.
Can't blame Conan for having ratings that suck with a sucky lead-in like Leno
Jay Leno did not get screwed -- getting screwed would have been NBC canceling his show and telling him to take a hike.
Leno got treated like royalty. His replacement in his old job was fired and he was handed back the job HE GAVE UP VOLUNTARILY. He didn't deserve that, but he got it.
He just shows how self-absorbed, unintelligent and ungrateful he is. More and more every time he opens his mouth.
Jay did not voluntarily give up The Tonight Show. He was forced out. NBC didn't want to lose Conan to another network when his contract expired, so they promised him The Tonight Show to appease him. Jay got screwed. Then, Conan bombed. Jay has been vindicated.
