Jamie Kennedy doctors up 'Eureka'
Jamie Kennedy is going from the supernatural to scientific.The "Ghost Whisperer" actor will guest star on the upcoming season of "Eureka" on Syfy, the network announced Monday (April 26).
In the episode "The Story of O2," Kennedy will play Dr. Ramsey, who's created a machine that creates oxygen (aka O2). Great, right? Well, when the technology malfunctions and too much oxygen is released over Eureka, the town is in danger of incinerating. Too bad Sheriff Jack Carter (Colin Ferguson) has left town to visit his daughter Zoe (Jordan Hinson).
Kennedy joins the previously announced Wil Wheaton ("Star Trek: TNG"), James Callis ("Battlestar Galactica") Matt Frewer and Jaime Ray Newnan, all of whom will make their own guest appearances in Season 4.
The fourth season of "Eureka" kicks off on Friday, July 9 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Kennedy's episode is scheduled for July 30.

Eureka has a lot of great talent when it comes to guest stars. It adds a lot to the show. I heard from Wil Wheaton’s blog and Felicia Day’s twitter that they’re both going to be on this next season too. Which personally, I can’t wait for. I’m also pleased that not only do I now have SyFy in HD (which really brings the programming to life) but I’m also paying less. It makes me a bit annoyed with myself that it took getting employed by DISH Network to realize switching from my cable provider was a viable option. I could have been saving so much money over the last several years.
