'House': Cameron and Chase say goodbye with a bang

Like that headline?
It's quite literal, isn't it?
Cameron (Jennifer Morrison) returned to Princeton Plainsboro and she and Chase (Jesse Spencer) finally fleshed out their demise.
And then they did it one last time ... though knowing that Cameron will be back for a handful of episodes next season makes me think that their divorce is really just putting a pin in this relationship.
What do you think?
Have we seen the last of Chase and Cameron?
How do you feel about what went down between them this week?
Sure, there was no case of the week to solve, but that means there was room for many tender, funny, insightful moments from each of the main characters ... including Cameron and Chase, of course.
Agreed?

Once again has been proved the kind of ***** that Cameron is. I felt terrible for Chase. She better stays far far away and don“t come back to hurt him again.
Cameron is being written out of course she comes off as cold!!!!!!!
Writers did everything to justify getting rid of Cameron, that hurts! She is NOT the ***** they try to make out of her. If you think that you haven't seen all the seasons before!!! And let's not forget it was Chase who first took advantage of her, a fact Chameron shipper like to ignore.
I hope Cameron comes back in season 7, permanently, and it's better NOT be pregnant with Chase's kid, that would be so JUMP THE SHARK.
BTW the "bang" was a big mistake, I expected more from the writers. A lot more.
(And I highly doubt that their relationship is not over, Chameron is dead)
In general good episode though, the lack of Huddy and House's confession was refreshing.
I'm glad Chameron is over, that relationship was wrong from the beginning. He pushed and pushed until she agreed to marry him because she has issues. And I hate that the writers made Cameron the one at fault here. Sorry, but Chase not only killed a man, he also chose House over his wife of 5 months.
But both Jennifer Morrison and Jesse Spencer were great last night. Cameron should have never be written out the show. She's a great character.
This is not a knock on Chase's character, because I love both Cameron AND Chase, but I am glad that this relationship is over because Cameron's character was swallowed up in being the girlfriend, then the wife of Chase. She is supposed to be an excellent doctor, and if she actually does appear next season (and I'll believe THAT when I see it), I hope it is as a DOCTOR, rather than a nagging ex-wife or baby mama. She is a great character who has been wasted over the past three seasons.
I agree that her character was wasted. I liked last night's ep overall but the scenes with Chase and Cameron were truly awful. I hope she tells them to stick it and doesn't come back at all, especially pregnant.
The ep was great, with the sad exception of Camerons return. I liked how Chase finally figured her out, but truly thought that the show is not doing Mrs. Morrison a favour as an actress, and I do hope she'll get another job real soon so she won't have to come back. Cameron came across as b****y, whiny, and predictable as always, and the acting was so painful to watch. She did her best but it was just so awfully written on her part. I wish they'd left her in Chicago or G-d knows where she's been. The final 'act' was almost as cringeworthy as her umteeth farewell in Teamwork, and I honestly wanted to kick Chase for succumbing to her silly 'proper' goodbye. At least Chamerons may be happy now and waiting for the perfect baby in season 7. Awwwww! ;)
I wanted to kick Chase for making Cameron cry and say it's all her fault when it isn't. Chase is at much as fault as she is. Cameron shouldn't have forgiven him so easily and slept with him
It's wonderful how all the comments so far are from clearly bitter and spiteful fans of either Cameron individually or House/Cameron as a dead-in-the-water "couple." I suppose that's because everyone who truly loved the episode has been too busy actually enjoying the episode to be bothered with commenting on websites about it. The "Chameron" fans have every right to be happy, as they all very much are, because it was a beautifully executed story of closure that finally dealt with so many previously-ignored issues of their past together and helped them to find a common ground on which they can both accept defeat and start to move on amicably. The actors both did amazing, heartbreaking work that was wonderful to watch and I personally felt the writers were finally doing proper justice to two characters who'd been on a roller coaster of romance for nearly five years now. It's sad to know they've officially parted ways, and even sadder to know it's the last we'll really see of Cameron at all, but it was a perfectly bittersweet resolution to their story. As for a potential baby for them early next season, I suppose we can't rule anything out seeing as their "proper goodbye" did in fact set the stage for just such a surprise outcome later on. I personally would love for that to be the case, and I know so many other fans would as well. Just because the voices that yell the loudest and most often are the ones of dissent and distaste, that doesn't mean there aren't plenty of viewers out and about who still truly loved this episode and enjoyed every moment of Chase and Cameron have shared together through the years. "Lockdown" was a fantastic episode.
