'Deadliest Catch' Capt. Sig Hansen takes 'Dancing' quest to Jay Leno
With a little help from Zap2it and the Hot Cuppa TV blog, crab-boat Capt. Sig Hansen of Discovery Channel's "Deadliest Catch" has been angling to be the first fisherman to compete on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars."Thursday night (April 29), he may be taking his campaign national with an appearance on NBC's "Tonight Show With Jay Leno," if the pictures above, provided by Discovery, are to be believed.
It's still up in the air whether "Deadliest" executive producer Thom Beers will ever be able to put that pink tutu on the captain's chair aboard the F/V Northwestern, but it looks like Hansen's quest to dance is getting serious.

Now if they did an all-Deadliest Catch edition of DWTS, I might actually watch!
I would love to see Sig on DWTS!!! (Although the judges may have to have body guards on set) LOL Go Sig!!

I think it would be great to see Sig, Edger,Andy and Jon try their sea legs out on DWTS. Who knows it may be a way to relax. I would for sure vote for a change but for who it's hard to say..

It would be the first time i would watch DWTS. I love DC and Sig. He has been wanting to do this for a long time.
Of course Sig's cigarette habit may inhibit any dancing.
