'Dancing With the Stars': Why does Kate Gosselin's name make Anna Trebunskaya cringe?
Evan Lysacek certainly seems to sing Kate Gosselin's praises during on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Thursday (April 22).But we're more interested in the face his partner Anna Trebunskaya made when Lysacek was gabbing about Gosselin.
Ellen DeGeneres asks the dancing duo how the reality TV mom handled getting voted off, and while Lysacek is in the middle of saying how "she was of course upset because we're all like a family" (we noticed he reiterated that "family" bit a couple times during the interview), Trebunskaya makes a yikes face and scoots over on the couch away from Lysacek. The audience starts laughing and there's a quick cut to the clip of Gosselin in tears. Hmm ... do we smell a rotten edit?
So does this mean Gosselin was actually a train wreck backstage? Or does Trebunskaya just think she overreacted to being voted off? Or does the pro dancer harbor some deeper feelings about the famous mom (who was rumored to make her own pro partner Tony Dovolani wish for an early end to this 'DWTS' season)? We don't know because Ellen never followed up on what that face was all about.

Also during the interview, we get to see a pretty disgusting blown-up image of Lysacek's bruised broken toes. His comment on his extremely unattractive feet:
"I'm most upset because my career as a foot model is probably not going to happen anymore."
That Lysacek is pretty funny.

Yea, I don't know what was up with Anna's reaction.
Evan has such grace. And, their dance was beautiful.
I make that exact same face whenever the KG name is mentioned. I can totally understand!
Some people must demonstrate their
true feelings. Obviously Anna felt the
need to make a negative expression.
I am so perplexed about why this woman receives so much attention. Do
people really feel there is something
extraordinary about her?
I think most Americans are far to intelligent
to give notoriety to someone like Kate.
I think Evan was brought up to be a gentleman and he wouldn't make disparaging remarks about Kate. He probably thinks them but won't say it. Anna is a little older like most of us and she is cynical. I am happy that I am not the only one who feels that Kate is an evil, uncoordinated, cow.
This woman is as selfish as they come. She's admitted that her mouth ran her husband off because she "likes control".
She's jumping up and down about wanting custody of her kids yet she's across the country weekly. She leaves the kids with a nanny to go to book signings, sometimes for 3 weeks.
These kids are stuck between a selfish, controlling mother and a mental midget of a dad.
it looks like she was just doing a little grimace while closing her legs a little tighter. why do that? hm.
ABC only added Kate for the publicity. She was horrible, and her teary exit was disgusting. She couldn't dance, had no respect for Tony her partner, and no respect for the show. To her is was just another "Kate" moment on TV. DWTS minus Kate will be a better show!
I think Anna was probably expressing what she really felt and not the PR blurb that Evan was spouting. As far as Ellen following up, when does she ever do any sort of in depth interview. It is always just about what movie, book or record the guest is selling. I seldom watch her show because her "interviews" are just fluff and also because the audience never stops screaming.
I think that perhaps dwts will gain more
Viewers after her exit. Americans are
far too intelligent for all of this nonsense.
This person personifies someone with
no self respect, morals and integrity.
Her popularity is falling fast.
why would someone thrive on so
much negatiive attention. I really
pity her. Her brother seems to be
doing the right thing by trying to
protect the children. He is a child
advocate. For someone to accuse him
of cashing in" is just absurd. I am
surprised that she went in Live with
Regis and Kelly after the remarks Kelly
Ripa made about Kate
