'Dancing With the Stars' Pam Anderson covers up to avoid a wardrobe malfunction

pamela-anderson-covers-up.jpg"Dance for the ballroom, not the bedroom."

Those were Bruno Tonioli's words of advice for Pamela Anderson, who can't seem to turn off the sexy factor (btw is there a drinking game yet for all the sexually-laced comments she throws in whenever the mic is in front of her? Monday's (April 12) side comment to Brooke Burke: "I love intense romance. I need it right now.").

This in addition to Anderson getting behind-the-scenes instructions from "Dancing With the Stars" producers to cover up more in hopes of preventing a disastrous live Janet Jackson-style wardrobe malfunction.

The cleavage got well-covered (and producers breathed a little easier), but Anderson's rumba still looked sexy as ever to us -- complete with Anderson's usual come-hither looks at partner Damian Whitewood and an impressive slow-motion splits at the end. But the judges saw something a little different.

"It was understated and had sophistication," Len Goodman said, adding a "well done." Tonioli exclaimed (in standard dramatic fashion), "Pamela Anderson can do refinement and elegance and still be drop dead sexy!" Carrie Ann Inaba saw "magic happening."

All this sophistication and refinement mixed in with magic earned Anderson a 47 out of 60 (7-8-8 for technique and 8-7-9 for performance), putting her in third place for the night, 5 points behind the night's winner Evan Lysacek and just 3 points behind second-place Nicole Scherzinger.

We'll see if the judges' praise and high marks are enough to keep her from heading back to the bottom two.

Did you see Pamela's rumba? What did you think -- sexy, understated or both?

Pam really pulled out the sexy and emotion in the Rumba, I think we expected to be good and she exceeded our expectations. http://www.baduku.com/dwts10

I love Pam,
but please, can she stop acting like she's in heat, for crying out loud already... Enough.

Enough of the foreplay with Pam Anderson. Be Normal.

Will Kate Mother of 8 stop acting like a big baby / victim. Will Pam Anderson stop acting like a tramp. Will Erin stop talking so much. Will the judges stop giving everyone a 6. grrrrrrr. I need to get my life back

It's all about ratings folks. I think Pamela is hoping she'll get through with her sexuality; personally, I think her dancing and flashing of her body is repulsive.

Pamela has been the surprise of the season for me; she has great stage presence and natural grace. I give her a lot of credit. And Pamela can project sensuality without showing a lot of skin - unlike Edyta, who always dances in little scraps of strategically placed fabric.

@kuuipok - I totally agree with you. I enjoy and look forward to Pam's dancing.

THEY are sexing her up - she's wearing what they put her in, so she's not to blame for the costumes she has on.

I think her dancing is good.

Kuuipok, They are not making her pout and grope her partner at every chance she gets. Sex appeal does not have to be so overt. Pam is like a barbie doll all gimmick and plastic. It is like having too much icecream...it makes you sick to your stomach. I prefer a confident ,nuanced sex appeal that leaves you wanting more.

she's ugly

Kate did so much better last night...seeing her reminds me of my dancing...a normal married working woman so im voting for her...she is the only one out of all the cast I can relate to. You can love her or hate her who cares the point is that its amusing to watch and her determination hits home to many women. Her dancing hits home to me!
