'Dancing With the Stars': Kate Gosselin's tango turns the judges' thumbs up
Before Kate Gosselin earned *gasp* praise for her tango, she continued her tradition of tearing up during rehearsals on Monday (April 12) night's "Dancing With the Stars."But then again, we might cry too after being the butt of jokes following last week's super awkward paparazzi dance.
The TLC reality star got emotional with her partner Tony Dovolani during practice, confessing that she just doesn't believe in herself ... and that she's also feeling the added pressure of her very public ongoing custody battle with ex-husband Jon Gosselin.
But the mom of eight pulled it together for their tango that actually got positive reviews from all the judges. Carrie Ann Inaba was "proud" and "impressed," while the harder-to-please Len Goodman told Dovalani what a great job he's done bringing Gosselin to produce her "best dance so far."
All this praise left the usually gabby Gosselin speechless (Dovolani was excited about that).
But "better" for the consistently low-scoring Gosselin didn't do much in terms of affecting her overall bottom-of-the-barrel standing. She earned a 32 out of 60 (4-5-5 for technique, 6-6-6 for performance), which put her in last place for the night.
Do you think Kate will still be around after Tuesday night's results show?

Kate is getting a little better each week but its still so so far below the curve. I think she'll still get he sympathy vote but technically no one really enjoys watching her dance, they just enjoy the drama. http://www.baduku.com/dwts10
Kate improved this week, but she still looks stiff and scared on the dance floor. She's the weakest dancer of the season. Either Niecy or Jake will be joining her in the bottom 2 this week.
This is the worst Dancing With the Stars episode I have ever seen because of the inapproiate music. I think they need to find a band that can play Rumba and Tango music when those are the dances they are doing. Playing second rate pop songs for those types of dances detracts from the performance.
Actually, I thought Kate did o.k. tonight. She looked pretty and smiled more. She looked a lot more relaxed and at ease.
If I didnt know what a witch this woman was, Id still want her off this show! she's terrible! face it Kate, you have no rhythm! maybe on the planet you came from, dancing or rhythm wasent a skill. & know matter how hard you try, we can tell, you dont like them, or us, at all! how or why anyone would pay you to do anything is a mystery to me. and I dont wonder why Jon is such an idiot..he learned it all at your knee. please please please go home!!!
I think Kate did very well and she is trying. So many bashers that it is sad. I have never really cared much for her but at least she is trying to put the food on the table for her kids. That ex of hers just wants her earnings.
Not original, but worth repeating:
To Hate on Kate is Great!!!
OMG!! I was so upset that Kate was saved again. I am so sick of the pity party she gives every week. The longer she stays the bigger her overinflated ego will get. I am convinced that this show is rigged. DWTS is battling Idol for viewers and they will keep Kate and Pam just to keep those ratings up. I do like Pam though and she can dance. The dancers who were dumped were much better dancers than Kate - even Buzz. This is the first year that I have watched this show and it may be my last.
