Colonel Angus brings 'SNL' pleasure in the 2000s

NBC's two-hour special "Saturday Night Live in the 2000s: Time and Again" Thursday night (April 15) took a look back at how the sketch comedy show changed in the past decade.

Among the highlights was the skit "Colonel Angus," which starred Christopher Walken as the titular Confederate officer who makes a visit down south, so to speak.

Sounds fairly innocuous? Well, considering the pun-ridden skit was written by Tina Fey, it bears a closer look, or perhaps a closer listen. The name Colonel Angus brings on a whole new meaning when discussed at length.

One of our favorite lines: "Colonel Angus, you old carpetbagger." Ah, Civil War sex humor.

Which was your favorite skit or moment featured on the special?

Hilarious skit. IMO every bit as funny as "I need more cowbell" which coincidentally also features Christopher Walken
