'Bones': Will the Gravedigger's trial bring Brennan's letter to light?
Nearly three years after the Gravedigger first hit "Bones," fans will finally see her put on trial early next month. But we still have one burning question: What the h@%! did Brennan (Emily Deschanel) write in that letter when the Gravedigger buried her alive and she thought she'd reached her end?
Korbi TV spoke with executive producer Stephen Nathan a few months ago and he was pretty coy about whether the infamous letter would make an appearance in the upcoming Gravedigger ep.
But we're, uh, persistent.
So when we caught up with Nathan recently, we managed to glean a bit more information.
"The Brennan letter...I don't really want to say the Brennan letter comes up [in the Gravedigger episode]," Nathan tells Korbi TV in the video below. "Brennan's experience in the car returns. Because we're not finished with the Gravedigger, we're not finished with that aspect of Brennan's experience with the Gravedigger either."
And it certainly seems like there is cryptic clue in there because creator Hart Hanson quickly added, "I wouldn't even have told you that."
Hmm.
Maybe the actual letter doesn't appear, but Brennan reveals whom she wrote it to and what it said? Or maybe it will be ignored for a bit longer?

All the more reason to say, it was to Booth.
And IF the letter is ever shown, it's gonna be in private. Brennan, maybe wayyy down the road, will get the letter out of her little shoebox (where also Booth's green jacket is in - with bullet hole, Brainy Smurf, Jasper the pig, the coaster from their tequila night 6 years ago, ...) and let Booth read it, when they're alone.
Because I am now convinced it was solely to him and what she wrote in there is for his eyes only.
And I am sticking to it. ;)

I think that they will show it not hear the words. Something will scare her into showing the words to Booth. I don't know.

Now I am even more on edge for this episode! So many things are brought up to light. Guess this means we won't get the letter, but sounds like we'll get more!!! Fine by me! :D
I think there are at least two possibilities: either she'll have to face the same experience again and finally have to seriously face her feelings for Booth, or the Gravedigger will get both her and Booth this time. I think it would be exciting to see the outcome of any of these two plots:)
Or, maybe it could be that the gravedigger gets just booth this time and brennan's fears will re-emerge and make her realise that she is in love with him too, the whole i cant lose him again whatever...
I think we're not seeing the letter yet (hence the .."we're not finished with the Gravedigger"). As long as the Gravedigger is still around, they still have an excuse to NOT show us the letter just yet. I think they'll find it difficult to convict TGD...and probably might have to let her go for now or something. If she does catch Booth+Brennan this time around it would be very interesting though, although I don't think she'll be catching anyone else (since it's obvious who they're gonna beat the truth out of this time!)
