'Bones' photos: First look at Rena Sofer's Dr. Bryar
"Bones" fans, we know a few of you have strong feelings about Rena Sofer's upcoming stint on the show.Her character, Dr. Catherine Bryar -- who makes her first appearance on April 22 -- will be romancing Booth, but let's be real: This isn't going to be a long-term thing.
So let's all breathe and wait to see how it plays out.
Perhaps it could be a good thing. Maybe it'll put B&B's feelings for one another in better focus?

Especially when we see her and Booth so close...

I know you are right and this is basically a sad distraction in order to stall the inevitable, it's still makes me a little angry. Jared and Padmae, and now Sweets and Daisy, all these couples are great distractions but I want the real thing!
You said "first appearance". Is she slated for more episodes?

I hate this plot point so much I'm seriously considering skipping this episode entirely. Ugh. This is my least favorite type of plot-line. Ever.
I think that B&B should be together already. I mean, you know how many situations they can take out from their relationship. For example, Brennan learning how to deal with Booth kid. Or some jealousy from one of them. They could bring back Agent Tim Sullivan or Rebecca(Booth ex), may be "uncomfortable" with them.
Booth teaching Brennan how to deal with babes. They can even go together to those courses for new parent. That will be really fanny.
But, even before that I will like to see their relationship developing. I know that they say that it is "developing" already, but I will like to see them in a real relationship and dealing with their differences.
And I think everyone is expecting a little more of sexual interaction between them. I mean, if we don't take in consideration the "fantasy episode" that they were marry, we have had only one kiss in more than 5 years!. I need more to survive.
I think that everyone what to see more of that. For example, Booth kissing Brennan when he see her on the lab. Or taking some of Angela's examples and ideas...(cough)(cough). They can have many different situations with them together.
Maybe we (The ones who want them together)should do a list of situations that can be use by the writers and producers if B&B are together and send it to the production of the show. (If you are going to do it, remember that you should give free "rights" over the ideas.)
Well, for now the only thing that we can do is wait to see what happens.
TBH, B/B aren't going to get together any time soon. Not this season. If next season is the last season, B/B won't get together until the last episode. If you're lucky, an episode before the series finale. How many times does HH have to make that any more clear? He's not playing around. There's a thing called "baiting" the shippers. HH knows he's got you and will not give you what you want until the end. He knows you'll still tune in, so he's not worried about losing viewers.
Anyway, until then, I think Booth and Brennan should be able to be in relationships with other people. They aren't a couple and are free to date or bed whomever they want. BTW

She's pretty, I hope her charcter works out.
