'Bones': David Boreanaz on Brennan giving Booth the big thumbs down
Warning: If you haven't seen the April 8th episode of "Bones," go watch it.ASAP.
Seriously.
Then come back here to get David Boreanaz's take on what went down during the hour.
Because once you've seen it, you're going to want to give Booth a big hug and some Wong Foo's. The devastation on his face after Brennan rejected his pleas to become a real couple? Absolutely killed us.

Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel knocked it out of the park, didn't they?
Korbi TV caught up with D.B. -- who also directed the hour -- at the 100th episode party on Wednesday night and had to know where he thinks Booth will go from here.
"We'll see," Boreanaz says in the clip below. "I think what was interesting about that scene was maybe she wasn't really ready [to be in a relationship with Booth]. I think that's what we were really trying to achieve [in that scene]. He's willing to wait. And that's what's great about his character."
However, as we know, Booth might not be single and lonely for long.
"At the same time, he's going to live his life," Boreanaz admits. "Work hard, raise his boy. It's always tough, but he's a very strong character. He relies a lot on what he believes in, and that's the simple things."
Watch the clip for more from Boreanaz on that and why the make out they shared wasn't always the plan for the episode. He's giving us the low down dirt...

I'm glad they didn't make BB having sex.
I loved the episode up until the last 3 minutes.
Glad Booth put it out there- Brennan's reaction was a load of *&%#
Sorry HUGE downer and set-back. The character really regressed in my eyes.
Too bad - she'd come so far. Feel like the show is treading water - we go back and relearn the lessons we've already taught her? I thought she was a genius with a high learning curve??
I agree I loved the 100th Episode untill the ending. It was an outright shame not bringing Booth and Bones together. I sure hope the writers wake up and fix it.
I enjoyed the show, and I'm glad they didn't get those 2 together, although It Would have been nice to see some sexy bedroom scenes with Booth nakid in bed..:) but we ALL know that once the 2 main characters get together that chemistry that makes the show is gone and tada..Sharks are Jumped!!!
If they had gotten together, where would they go?? I don't want to see a baby brought into this show...and if they broke up...that is the wrong chemistry for this show...
I think they should have Booth start dating, but not find anyone who lasts more than a couple of dates...and endless supply of different women (and I DO mean Different..not a parade of some blonde barbies)and Perhaps some competition from Bones as she finds herself jealous but unable to deal with that feeling.
Anyway, I'm glad they didn't get together...I want this show to last ALOT longer!!
Ciao
So Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan is a genius with a high learning curve, eh?
She sounds like a total jerk, to me...
She tossed off a winner like Booth because she thinks he wouldn't be happy.
She might as well as said, outright he wasn't good enough for her.
Smart people are like that.
They're good with books, and book learning, but are totally stupid at life...
Not to mention way more insecure and immature than the rest of the world...
Not that I want to be stupid,
but sometimes smart people don't enough like it to warrant a lot of respect from me... Although I do respect the educated set...
Oh, yeah... I hope they(the writers or the characters, like Brennan, for example,) use the Aspberger's syndrome excuse... It would be just too convenient.
I think Brennan should be an overgrown juvenile science geek from grade six(approx.) who still has yet to grow up...
I disagree that sharks are jumped if they get together. The tension isn't all sexual. they see the world from fundamentally different places and experience it in very different ways. His heart and her head. That doesn't change because they love each other. Also the sexual tension doesn't totally go away because they spend an inordinate number of hours together and that creates tension about how to deal with the romance and remain professional. the writers just need to be mature adults and write something real.
I loved the 100th show but just like everyone else the ending just suck !There is no way of saying it. I felt like i was just dump. like i was just left at the alter and my soon to be partner just left me. i sorry but something have to give and i hate when write pull a good thing to the end and as a fan i just give up if they don;t get together i done with bones
Loved the show, cried at the end though. Felt so bad for Sealy. poor thing, but both of them acted their tails off and I loved that.
Loved the shout out to DB's dad, Dave Roberts, who was the gray haired man walking away from the copier in the FBI offices. I'm from the Philly area where DB grew up and his dad had been weatherman for over 25 years. It was nice to see him again. He was my favorite weatherman here. lol. really.
I used to ship Booth/Brennan when the show started. But now, with both of them having had a number of serious relationship over the last 5 years, I'd be happier if they stayed apart.
Knowing that they had a chance 6 years ago and blew it just convinces me even more they should never get together.
