'Bones': David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel on Booth and Brennan's first meeting
When a series makes it to 100 episodes, it generally has the following: Solid fan support, interesting storylines and chemistry within the cast.But as you'll see in the video clip below, "Bones" stars David Boreanaz (Booth) and Emily Deschanel (Brennan) are clearly lacking in the chemistry department.
J/K, kids! J/K!
Whether it's Deschanel surprising Boreanaz by using a sports metaphor or talking about the initial Booth and Brennan meeting, these two obviously have that special "lightning in a bottle" something which keeps us coming back every week.
So what about that initial meeting between the two characters? Did they hit it off right away?
"There are a lot of emotions that happen throughout this episode--" Deschanel says in the clip below.
"Snap, crackle, pop!" Boreanaz interrupts.
"--of our first case together," Deschanel continues. "A lot of different, conflicting, strange, strong, emotions."
Hmmmm...

Seriously,Bones has lost the magic for me, the 100th is my last hope. The show is going NOWHERE! Seriously, I loved it in season 2, but I feel like since then, its just been generic alternative murder scenes and the character development isn't moving. It just feels really stuck and stale. Come on CHANGE. At this stage I'd even go for a death cas it needs a MASSIVE shake-up. I'm so tired of the formulaic repetitiveness!!
Haha....did anyone else hear Emily say "we kiss"? It was very fast and she sort of keeps talking, but it was there....lol!
This is my favoret show, I'm glad it's a hit and will be around awhile.
This coming 100th episode to me, is the beginning of their
possible, now impossible,"romantic break-up"
And since their "chemistry" will be nil forthcoming,
I'm sure that will be the beginning of the end for this couple. So, every episode
forthcoming will be just
ordinary forensic drama. I am not looking forward to the 6th season.
The next few episodes from what we hear are going to be hard on the shipper's heartstrings but they won't be broken up, if they are, for too long. The cases are not the strong point for this show, the characters are.

oh come on people, don't be so negative. Let's wait and see. They've always been so cautious about the hooking up, I know they won't disappoint.
Sad about the spoiler, I didn't need to know before the episode that Bones called him Shoes. :(
I think that B&B should be together already. I mean, you know how many situations they can take out from their relationship. For example, Brennan learning how to deal with Booth kid. Or some jealousy from one of them. They could bring back Agent Tim Sullivan or Rebecca(Booth ex), may be "uncomfortable" with them.
Booth teaching Brennan how to deal with babes. They can even go together to those courses for new parent. That will be really fanny.
But, even before that I will like to see their relationship developing. I know that they say that it is "developing" already, but I will like to see them in a real relationship and dealing with their differences.
And I think everyone is expecting a little more of sexual interaction between them. I mean, if we don't take in consideration the "fantasy episode" that they were marry, we have had only one kiss in more than 5 years!. I need more to survive.
I think that everyone what to see more of that. For example, Booth kissing Brennan when he see her on the lab. Or taking some of Angela's examples and ideas...(cough)(cough). They can have many different situations with them together.
Maybe we (The ones who want them together)should do a list of situations that can be use by the writers and producers if B&B are together and send it to the production of the show. (If you are going to do it, remember that you should give free "rights" over the ideas.)
Well, for now the only thing that we can do is wait to see what happens.
