'America's Got Talent' judges miss David Hasselhoff

David Hasselhoff's absence has been felt on "America's Got Talent."

Fellow reality show judges Sharon Osbourne and Piers Morgan have welcomed replacement Howie Mandel, but they still have a piece of their hearts reserved for The Hoff.

"Of course I miss David," Osbourne told Zap2it at the NBC Summer Press Day Monday (April 26). "He's a great guy. He's a really good person and I miss him. David brought a lot of heart."

Morgan added, "He's a crazy guy, fun and great personality."

Even Kathy Griffin, who appeared on a panel to promote her Bravo show "My Life on the D-List," expressed affection for Hasselhoff ... in her own way.

"If Hasselhoff was more lucid I'd be happy to have a Twitter war with him ...  or at least his cheeseburger," she joked. "So he would actually be fun to be in a Twitter war with because his kids probably actually do it for him. I don't see him picking up a phone and doing his own twatting."

And even though The Hoff has moved on to greener reality TV pastures, he's still keeps in touch with his old pals.

"I saw him in Beverly Hills about two weeks ago at a charity hot dog event," said Morgan. "He had a hot dog named after him. He was same old David, very funny, excited about his new venture, very good."

"AGT" premieres sans Hasselhoff on Tuesday, June 1 on NBC, who announced today that you can audition for the show via YouTube.
